Educational Awareness

Our team visited the Irular settlement area in Killai Village, near Parangipettai, to inspect the existing tuition center. During this visit, we made arrangements to relocate and establish the tuition classes at a different, more suitable location within the same area, aiming to enhance the learning environment for the students.

We had the privilege of attending the inauguration (or launch day) of the Yasin Foundation's relocated tuition class as Special Guests. The event was also graced by the presence of Mr. Boorasamy, a respected Social Activist from the local community, who joined us in marking the occasion.

The main goal of this program was to ensure educational equity for students. This involved a two-step approach: first, assessing their current academic levels, and second, implementing targeted strategies to significantly improve their learning capabilities and academic outcomes as part of a broader commitment to social upliftment.

This initiative is a step towards providing continuous and quality educational support to the children of the Irular community in Killai village.
