Flood Relief

Due to the heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding caused by Cyclone Fengal that hit in December 2024, villages in the Nellikuppam area of Cuddalore District were plunged into darkness. Numerous farmlands, as well as electrical appliances and household goods in homes, were submerged.

When the flooding began, particularly in the villages of Mulligramapattu and then  Vanpakkam under Nellikuppam Municipality, upon hearing the news, we joined volunteers and immediately arranged for a Van. Working for approximately one hour at night, we safely rescued the children, women, and elderly people there.

Following the rescue, we continued to provide food and relief materials to the people of Vanpakkam and Mulligramapattu. We personally visited the people sheltered in the relief camps to distribute the aid.
